Parthan due to his rebellious upright nature has a quite a few enemies, the prominent one was his own uncle and the president of the panchayath, Phalgunan Thampy. Thereafter ,he had many unbelievable face-offs with death which made other people refer to him as 'Paralokam Kanda Parthan' meaning "Parthan, who has seen the other world". Parthan had an array of near-death experiences starting from his child hood days when he fell into a river.When everyone thought that Parthan was no more, he came back to life with little casualities. He has a very few friends which included his childhood pals ,Sulaiman and poonkkody. The film tells the story of Parthasarathy, popularly called as Parthan who lives at Krishnapuram village, which is also famous for the ancient Balagopala temple.Parthan's father who was also an ardent devotee of Lord krissna died in an accident while returning after a pilgrimage visiting Guruvayoor temple.Parthan,following this incident ,had turned an atheistīasically a good-hearted man with an education from Jawaharlal nehru university and little associations with the naxalite movements, Parthan always stood for truth and justice. Rajan kiriyath writes the screenplay for the film in which Mukesh and jagathy are also doing key roles. Madhu under the banner of Screen Cine Entertainment, has a plot based on a story by K B Raju. 'Parthan Kanda Paralokam', produced by K.B. Anil, who was formerly directing films jointly with Babu in the title Anil-Babu, had directed Jayaram for many hits like Pattabhishekam, Aramanaveedum Anjoorekkarum, Uttaman and Njaan Salpperu Ramankutty. Jayaram, after a worse year than ever, is again joining with his favourite director Anil after last year' s '' Anchil Oral Arjunan'.This new film titled as Parthan Kanda Paralokam, planned as a total laugh-riot comes up, especially at a time when Jayaram's career is drooping ever time low, with the recent debacle of films like 'Novel''.
